Come out to support The David D. Hammar Foundation, and promote bicycle safety & helmet awareness, by enjoying a fun day of cycling around scenic Long Valley / Califon, NJ. The David D. Hammar Foundation, will be hosting its first annual “Ride for Awareness”. There are a few challenging climbs (see elevation guide below), but they are all rewarded with fun descents. This will be a very enjoyable ride for every cyclist.
RIDE FOR THE BEST TIME OF JUST FOR FUN
Entry fee includes: ($30 pre-reg, $35 day of event)
Organized ride with police presence, ride support, refreshments at mile 13, light breakfast
(bagels, bananas, etc.), awards for top 3 Men & Women finishers, and a T-shirt.
** All times for event riders will be posted on website within 48 hours of event.

- LCI certified bicycle instructor will teach the basics of bicycle safety
- Cycleworks (Route 206 Byram, NJ) will be checking bikes for safety issues and fitting helmets
- Family bike ride down Patriot’s Path (weather permitting)
- Refreshments will be provided
- Bring your bicycle, helmet and get ready to have some fun!!!

We will have a table set up at the Somerville Bike Tour on Monday May 28th, 2007 from 8-5. We will be located somewhere on the inside of the course.
